Kent Pun
Kent Pun, PGL Global's vice president of operations, was born and raised in China, speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese, and has more than 15 years of experience in international trade. He is experienced in sales and marketing and strategic sourcing to and from the greater China area and the Pacific region countries. Most recently, as director of LCC sourcing at SupplierInsight, a Cleveland based start-up company specializing in supplier relationship management, he was responsible for helping clients start and manage low cost country sourcing programs. Prior to that, Pun worked for Eaton Corporation as the E-commerce manager of supplier resource management. He was overseeing a $300 million company-wide electronic purchasing program. Pun also held positions at Unicon Rubber Machinery and ITW Ride Quality Products, where he helped companies setup sales and service offices and worked on international joint venture and technology transfer projects. He has extensive knowledge in machinery manufacturing, machining, chemical and polymer industries. Pun graduated from The University of Akron with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, as well as with a master's degree in engineering management. He also earned a master's degree in electronic commerce from Carnegie Mellon University. |
